Discover the power of harmony and expression, our music and communication therapy programs empower children to discover their voices, fostering growth, connection, and emotional well-being.

Communication Therapy

Communication therapy is based on supporting clients on their language development journey through a client centered approach where we teach through facilitated play and natural interactions within their environment. By using the client’s interest and working with their strengths it helps ensure the client remains motivated while we target goals such as pre-verbal skills (e.g. Joint Attention, Turn-Taking), language growth (via verbal communication, PECS, and/or ACC devices), following directions, verbal reasoning, and social skills. If communication services are deemed appropriate, individualized goals will be created based on the client’s needs, values, and preferences. Communication therapy uses preferred toys, books, and activities to improve communication, boost self-confidence, and independence.

Music Therapy

Music Therapy is the clinical and evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals. Identified goals are targeted within a therapeutic relationship between the client and a credentialed professional who has completed an approved Music Therapy program. As an allied health profession, Music Therapy provides individuals with the unique opportunity to learn and grow through the implementation of their personal creativity and interests. Music Therapy goals may include but are not limited to:

– Social Skills

– Cognitive and Academic skills

– Emotional Processing and Regulation

– Motor Skills
