Communication therapy is about supporting clients on their language development journey through a client-centered approach, where we teach through facilitated play and natural interactions within their environment.
Using the client’s interests and working with their strengths helps ensure the client remains motivated while we target goals such as pre-verbal skills (e.g. Joint Attention, Turn-Taking), language growth (via verbal communication, PECS, and/or ACC devices), following directions, verbal reasoning, and social skills. If communication services are deemed appropriate, individualized goals will be created based on the client’s needs, values, and preferences. Communication therapy uses preferred toys, books, and activities to improve communication, boost self-confidence, and independence.

Music Therapy provides individuals with the unique opportunity to learn and grow through the implementation of their personal creativity and interests.
